These are a collection of READTO stories for younger children.  THey are all about different
animals who are each afraid of the one thing most inconvenient to their lives.

These are fears that many children have and indeed that a fair number of adults carry with
them into their older lives.

However, in THE  WHO'S  AFRAID  STORIES  there is always a remedy.  Each animal finds
a happy solution of how to conquer their fear through the love and kindness of friends, family or
a chance encounter with a willing helper.

This serves two purposes, as the helpers who solve their problems find out what a good feeling
it gives them to be able to help someone in need.

The stories are written in fairly grownup language to extend ther child's vocabulary and the
illustrationa will give them fun to colour and scope for their imagination.

All children love to be read a story and the author believes that reading to children at an
early age encourages a love of books and a desire to be able to read themselves.
