Nick Duhigg is a writer from the New England region in northern NSW, Australia, who had a humble beginning behind the counter in the family independent bookshop. Surviving this ordeal, he completed an honours degree at university before lukewarm attempts at the real world. Somewhere amongst all this he was instilled with a desire to write and although an idea to break into the world of cookbooks with his title Fifty Ways to Make Toast never took off, he instead penned his debut novel Pendulum – a little story about life, love and nothing about toast.
